Robert was born before 6 December 1619 at Landrake, Cornwall, England.1 Robert moved from Landrake to St Stephens by Saltash. This branch of the family apparently acquired occupancy of the property in Notter, enabling him to use the title of yeoman, Details have not been found but this may have occured after the death of his cousin Elizabeth Cruse mn Dawbyn and is noted in the inventory taken after his death. Robert Dawbins Yeoman was grandfather of Mary Dobbin; The lack of records from the Commonwealth period makes it difficult to be sure of any family. However the given name Robert seems to have only been used by this branch of the family. It is entirely possible that this Robertr could have married late and lived to age 78. Robert died on 7 April 1698 at St Stephens by Saltash, Cornwall, England.2 An Inventory of goods and Chattells with the value of 47 pounds 10 shillings and 4 pence was prepared by Philip Skelton and Samuel Dawbins on 27 April 1698.3 Probate on his estate was granted on 2 July 1698 at St Stephens by Saltash, Cornwall, England, to his son Robert Dawbin.4

Frederick Green seems to have cut himself off from the family.
Joan remembers going with her Dad, Uncle Reggie and uncle John in the car to where he lived up on the moors. Later he moved to Worthen in Shropshire without telling his stepdaughter where he was and apparently they visited and got on quite well. Freddie had married a lady who already had a daughter named Nettie.Eventually Nettie? traced him and they resumed visiting. Frederick was born on 22 July 1891 at St Germans, Cornwall, England.1,2 Frederick died say 1975.
