William Withiel1

M, b. say 1690, d. 15 December 1731
A birth or baptism entry has not been found for William. However he may have a connection to Richard Withyell husbandman who lived first in Fowey and moved to Luxulyan shortly before his death in 1711. It is noted that William named his son Richard.2
The marriage to Susanne has been assumed from the baptism entries for the children and needs further research. William Withiel married Susannah (?) say 1720. William Withiel died on 15 December 1731 at Tywardreath, Cornwall, England.3,4
William Withyell died intestate without making a will and on 24 December 1731 an application for administration of his estate was made. Thomas Symons gent of St Austell and William Rosevear yeoman of Luxullyan were appointed to act on behalf of the widow Hannah Withyell. There may be a note about the minority of the two children.4 His estate was probated on 17 January 1732 at St Neot, Cornwall, England. His widow passed the administration of his estate to Thomas Symons of St Austell and Willam Rosevear of Luxulyan during the minority of her son Ric and daughter Maria.5
