A sister who was named Susanna after her aunt and grandmother was baptised on 11 May 1794. Their mother did not recover from the birth and was buried three weeks later on 16 June 1794. The new baby was to survive for two years. Robert was left with three young children - the new baby Susanna, Sarah who was not yet three years old, and her brother Robert who was six. On 30 November of the same year Robert senior married again, this time to Grace Lee who was to bear him three more children.
