Her occupation was. 3.2 Susannah died at age 47 Phthisis on 1 November 1852 Gravel Lane, Salford, Lanc at Salford, Lancashire, England. DCert. states widow of John Cromack. This is a fabrication. Cromack was her maiden name and the birth certificates of each of her children names the fathers.4.5

Sarah had received a letter telling her that her neice Emily had run away from where she had been living with her aunt and the woman had illused her shamefully. Sarah had talked it over with her husband and they had decided to take Emily as their own "for the sake of our Master".4 She made a will on 1 September 1903 at Echuca, Victoria, Australia.5 Sarah died at age 66 on 25 May 1906 at Echuca, Victoria, Australia. Sarah's will was probated in June 1906.
